My recent stay at Vila Romanitza left me with mixed feelings. While the hotel offers excellent amenities such as an à la carte restaurant and a welcoming terrace, there were certain drawbacks that marred the experience. The rooms, albeit functionally furnished and equipped with modern conveniences like a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, were let down by uncomfortable beds and an unpleasant smell lingering in the air, reminiscent of cigarette smoke.Despite these setbacks, the friendly and attentive staff, coupled with the clean and comfortable room, contributed positively to my overall impression. The serene terrace of the restaurant provided a perfect setting to enjoy a delicious meal, and the bar's offerings were a delightful treat.Although the hotel's location is convenient and offers a peaceful retreat, the issue with the beds and room odor cannot be overlooked. However, for travelers seeking a budget-friendly option with basic amenities, Vila Romanitza could still be a suitable choice. The tours and ticket assistance, along with the 24-hour reception, add to the convenience of staying at this establishment, making it a decent option for a short stay in the Brasov area.
